His “15 minutes of fame” were probably just as exciting for the people who watched as for Ashley himself.

Ashley Revell came to a roulette table after selling really all his belongings (except the pants he wore). He put all his money (about $ 135,000) into the red. The world stood still for a moment … When the ball turned red at 7, Ashley Revell was in one blow $ 135,000 richer.

This exciting event was filmed by Sky One for a ‘Double or Nothing’ TV show. This made Ashley Revell one of the most famous roulette winners ever (see also the video below).
