Columns System

The roulette layout provides all roulette players with a multitude of betting opportunities. From singles, to 50% betting wins with red or black, or even four numbers, or corners. In the Columns System we make use of the column betting positions on the roulette table. This means that you bet on one of the three columns made up of twelve numbers. The pay-out for the bets amounts to 2 to 1, which entails that you can, in theory, win 15 pounds with a 5 pound bet. Since you can always win with this system, granted that your budget allows a few losses, it’s ideal for high rollers.

How does the Columns System work?

The Columns System is rather straightforward: it’s a not all too difficult system to use while playing roulette. As the name already suggests, you will be betting per column during the rounds. You start by betting a small amount on the first column. Every time you lose this bet, you double the last bet amount and add it to the next column (the second column in this case). Every time you win this bet, you use the starting amount again, on the next column (the third column). If your lose all three column bets, then you restart at the first column with the double of the first, original bet that you started with last time.

Example

  • Start by betting £5 on the first column. When you lose, continue to the second column with £10. When you win the next round, you return to your original bet. So bet £5 on the third column.
  • Start by betting £5 on the first column. When you lose, continue to the second column with £10. Should you lose again, you continue to the third column with £20. If you lose this as well, you would return to the first column with a bet of two times your original bet, so £10.

Does the Columns System really work?

Yes, in principle, every good strategy is a step towards a profitable session. Since this is a well thought out system that does not deviate, and improves your chances of winning a series. The ball does, naturally, need to fall in your favour more often for this to happen. In any case, you remove the chance at lose money through this system by not simply placing random bets, which would make you lose much more money, faster. Do realise that by doubling your bet every time you lose, it is handy for you to have a high budget, or start with a low original bet.
