European Roulette

American and European Roulette are undoubtedly the two most popular variations of roulette. The main difference between European and American Roulette is that American Roulette has a double zero (00), while European Roulette only has one zero on the wheel. This actually increases you chances of winning in comparison to American Roulette. The double zero in American Roulette only increases the winning odds for the casino. This is why we always advise playing at a European Roulette table.

How does European Roulette work?

The European Roulette wheel consists of 37 slots for the roulette ball to fall into. These slots are numbered from 0 up to 36. Once the betting time is complete, the dealer will declare the all bets are closed and spin the roulette wheel in a certain direction. The roulette ball will then be spun in the opposite direction by the dealer. The numbered slot in which the roulette ball comes to a half is the confirmed winning number by the dealer. If you bet on the winning number, or the winning number was a part of your betting combination, you will be paid-out the consequent amount  by the dealer.

Where can I play European Roulette?

European Roulette is the most oft played roulette version, especially in the online casinos. This is why you can most probably find a version of European Roulette at each online casino that offers roulette games, whether it be live casino, or table games. Not all online casinos specify whether the roulette game is European Roulette or not, but this can be discovered rather quickly depending on whether or not the wheel has one or two zeros.
